Indie author, Qwantu Amaru has had a great summer as his debut novel, One Blood (4.5/5 stars on 110 reviews) garnered major attention from numerous literary awards committees. In May, the novel won a National Indie Excellence Book Award and two International Book Awards. In June, One Blood was named the 2nd best fiction novel of 2012 in the Indie Reader Discovery Awards and was named a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.
